Kilim Karst Geoforest Park Langkawi, UNESCO first Global Geopark in Southeast Asia, is dominated by dramatic karstic landscapes, pristine mangrove and limestone forests. Spanning almost 100 square kilometers, this amazing biodiversity is a home to numerous flora and fauna.

Journey back to when the earth was young and explore the lush mangrove forest in Kilim Karst Geoforest Park by boat from Tanjung Rhu jetty. Observe various types of limestones and rocks, beautiful caves, rich mangrove fauna and flora, watch a fish-feeding show at the local fish farm.

Head to the floating restaurant for a simple halal Malay set lunch and stop at the beach for a quick refreshing dip or a relaxing time before concluding your adventure.

Itinerary

• 08:30-09:45 AM Meet up at the hotel lobby
• 10:00 AM Depart by boat to start the tour
• Drift through the mangroves, spot wildlife, watch eagle and monkey, visit Crocodile Cave (depending on the tide), stop at the bat cave and visit the fish farm
• Enjoy a simple Malay set lunch at the floating restaurant
• Stop at the beach for a swim or relax
• 02:00-03:00 PM Return to the jetty, transfer back to the hotel
