Important Info

1. Child Ticket: Applicable for children aged 3-10 (determined strictly by the year of birth, not by the exact birthdate);
2. Age Requirement: Minimum age to kayak independently: Age 11; minimum age to join as a passenger: Age 3;
3. Minimum Booking Requirement: A minimum of 2 adults is required per booking. If you are traveling alone, please check with us to confirm if a solo booking is possible;
4. Datai Surcharge: A surcharge of RM 100 per vehicle (maximum 10 persons) applies to guests staying at The Datai. This amount is payable directly to the driver at the time of pick-up;
5. Kayak Capacity: Each kayak can accommodate a maximum of two people;
6. Health Restrictions: This activity is not suitable for pregnant women, individuals with heart conditions, respiratory issues, severe motion sickness, joint or mobility problems, back or neck injuries, or those recovering from recent surgeries. It involves boat rides and kayaking, requiring reasonable physical fitness. Guests with these conditions are advised to consult their doctor before joining the tour;
7. Insurance Requirements: For insurance purposes, please provide the full names, passport numbers (for non-Malaysians), or MyKad/MyKid numbers (for Malaysians), along with gender, nationality, and date of birth for all participants;
8. Dietary Restrictions/Allergy Notice: Please inform us of any specific dietary preferences (e.g., vegetarian) or severe allergies for all participating guests so that appropriate arrangements can be made. However, depending on the restrictions, the selection may be limited;
9. Arrival Courtesy: Please be on time to avoid missing the pick-up. Refunds will not be provided for late arrivals or no-shows;
10. Rainy Conditions: This activity will proceed even in rainy weather but may sometimes be postponed to a later time at the operator's discretion;
11. Activity Adjustments: Schedules, itineraries, and activities are subject to change or cancellation due to weather, sea conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances;
12. Trip Cancellation: In the event of cancellation by the operator due to stormy weather, an alternative day or a refund will be offered;
13. Safety Guidelines: Follow all safety instructions provided by the guide during the activity to ensure a safe experience for everyone;

15. Prohibited Items: Pets, weapons, illegal substances, fireworks, hazardous or combustible items, glass objects, and/or sharp objects are strictly prohibited;

Cancellation Policy

• Full refund, minus a 5% processing fee, if cancelled 8 days or more prior to the activity date;
• ⁠No refund if cancelled less than 7 days prior to the activity date or in the case of a no-show;
